Coffee Time
Hairy has his second Starbucks gathering. Kevin and Maryne brought Muscle Butt and Walter (The Terrierist), Mike and Robin brough Hrudy (The Nut) and a bunch of other people pased by and showed up for various events that we didn't even know. I bet we met with at least 10 other dogs who hung out and played.
This is what happens when you play for a LONG time with your friends.

Muscle Butt is one of Maryne and Kevin's rescue dogs so she isn't very comfortable in public. Hairy and her had a few licks but that was about it.

Hummm
Well, he has a huge lump on his head. Who knows why... I read a bunch of stuff on the web and it can be 1 of 3 things. Either he finally hit his head hard enough on something to cause an injury, he has some sort of fatty buildup that should go away on it's own or it might be cancer. I'll watch it for a few days and see what happens.. I just noticed it tonight and it got pretty big, pretty fast so I am thinking he just hit his head while I was out, entirely possible since he runs in to everything.Posted by Hairy Pawdini at 10:26 PM | Comments (0)

Meet Tucker & Coco
Hairy had a blast meeting his cousins, Tucker and Coco. Tucker is a pure Cocker and Coco is a ... well... we're not sure. I think she is part miniture pincher and part choclate lab with some chiwawa thrown in... but that's just me. In any case, she is the spawn of Satan. Several times she tried to kill Hairy, but he survived.  |

Splish Splash
Yup, bath time. He wasn't too fond of the bath, per say... he liked when it was over and got to get wrapped up in a towel.
We had our first training session on Sunday. It went pretty well.. Hairy did very well for such a long session and being so young. I have been trying to get back to hime every few hours for a quick training session. He loves the meat treats that I got him (some natural sausage type log that I cut up in to tiny pieces).

Puppies and tile don't mix.. Hairy doesn't have any sort of traction control built in as evident by this short clip. Would someone please get him some shoes!

We're Home
Well, Hairy made it in ok. We came home, he sniffed everything in sight and took inventory of the joint. He found out that the Kong had good stuff in it and he is learning what to chew and what not to chew.
Hairy 9 Weeks Old
I put him in his crate before we went to lunch with some toys and a few treats and he seemed just fine. We came back and he was just waking up from a nap. He's been pretty good about going to the bathroom outside and I caught him one time so far in the house and he went out and was rewarded.
Right now he is sleeping on the couch. His trainer, Carolina, from Black Nose Dog Training is coming over on Sunday to get him started on his training.

Captain, We Have Liftoff
Well, lookie what we have here. Mr. "I will never have a blog" finally has a blog.. someone shoot me.
Ok, ok.. it isn't really for me... it is for Hairy Pawdini... aka Hairy Paws.. aka Hairy..
This is Mr. Hairy at 4 weeks of age
Hairy arrives tomorrow at LAX with one of his current owners, Chris, at 10:15 am. I'm going to pick him and Chris both up and bring them back to my place to get Hairy settled. I think Chris departs again to go back home to Indiana at around 6pm or something.
I hope this is a better success then the plants in my front yard
