Latest news... Hairy broke a tooth (one of the bottom canine's) and there was blood all over, but it is a baby tooth so he'll be loosing it soon. Not sure how Mr. Prone To Accidents did that one
Hairy is growing by leaps and bounds (literally..) here are some new pics:
Also, here is another short movie of the trick Hairy is currently learning. I usually leave the door slightly cracked so when he is done outside he can push it open (which he already does) and I am teaching him to close it after he comes in. He almost has it down.

Oh my, he's getting so big, so fast! Sigh..they aren't puppies for long are they. That's a cool trick, wish Maggie could figure it out...how are you training him to do it? Maybe I could get her royal highness to try it?

Well, when he comes in from outside he figured out himself that sometimes I don't close the door all the way, so he can just nudge it open. So, I would grab some treats when he goes outside and when he comes in, I would show him the treats and hold them up to the door and he would jump up at the door to get the treats. Once the door shuts (sometimes slams) I give him the treats. He almost does it on his own now.
